Cookies and Local Storage on Rummy.Global
Reviewed 22 October 2026 · Rummy.Global Editorial
Cookies and local storage are different browser mechanisms. Rummy.Global uses local storage for game and interface preferences and includes an analytics script.
Local storage used by the site
| Feature | Stored locally |
|---|---|
| Game | Statistics, difficulty, tutorial completion and local leaderboard data |
| Theme | Light or dark preference |
| Calculator | Selected card values |
| Session behaviour | Temporary flags for the current browsing session |
These records are tied to the browser and device, not a registered account. Clearing site data can reset them.
Analytics is separate from local game saves
The site includes Google Analytics. Analytics requests and any cookies it sets are not the same as the locally saved practice score. Third-party storage can vary with browser settings and the analytics configuration.
This review has not established an exact analytics-cookie lifetime or retention period. It also does not claim that a consent preference centre is implemented where no such control exists.
Clear or restrict storage
- Open your browser’s site-data settings for rummy.global.
- Delete site data to reset saved progress, selected cards and preferences.
- Use browser privacy controls to restrict analytics or third-party requests.
- Use the calculator’s Reset button if you only want to remove that saved selection.
A blocked storage API should not stop a new practice game, but it can prevent the game from remembering progress.
